The International Conference on Resources and Environment Sciences (ICRES) was inaugurated in 2019 on Jeju Island, South Korea, and has since grown into a respected annual forum for sustainability research. Due to the pandemic, the conference operated virtually from 2020 to 2022, resumed as a hybrid event in 2023, and returned to fully in-person sessions in Bangkok for ICRES 2024 to 2026. The conference serves as a technical congregation where the latest theoretical and technological advances in resources and environmental sciences are presented and discussed. It aims to trigger further research and practical innovations addressing global challenges such as climate change and resource depletion. The publications from ICRES are expected to stimulate continued improvements in this vital field. Looking ahead, ICRES 2027 is already scheduled for June 10–12, 2027, also in Bangkok, underscoring the series' long-term commitment to fostering international collaboration and advancing sustainability science in the region.

Participants are supposed to register in advance in order to enjoy the full conference services. Delegates without presentations can register directly.

Papers submitted to ICRES 2027 will go through peer reviewing process by international experts. Selected papers will be published in E3S Web of Conferences (Open Access proceedings in Environment, Energy and Earth Sciences), which will be sent to Scopus, CAS, Thomson Reuters, DOAJ, EBSCO, ProQuest and other major databases for indexing.
