Engineering Education for Sustainable Development (EESD2027)

Join us in Turku, Finland, on June 14–17, 2027, for EESD2027 under the theme “Driving sustainable impact through Higher Education”. The conference brings together educators, researchers, and industry leaders worldwide to explore how sustainability can be embedded in engineering education and to share best practices for shaping a sustainable future.

The 13th International Conference on Engineering Education for Sustainable Development,  EESD2027  will be hosted by Turku University of Applied Sciences, Turku, Finland, from the 14th to the 17th of June 2027 on the theme ‘Driving sustainable impact through Higher Education’.

The aim of the conference is to offer opportunities to share your ideas, to discuss theoretical and practical issues and to connect with the leaders in the fields of Engineering Education for Sustainable Development.

The EESD2027 conference will attract engineering educators, academics and industry representatives from all over the world with an interest in embedding sustainability in engineering education and driving sustainable impact on the development of societies.

Sustainability issues are making their way into engineering education in many countries, and there is a strong need for discussing all levels of EESD – from learning and teaching solutions, curriculum and programme design, assessment practices, HEI strategies and policies in sustainability, academia-industry collaboration, etc. The EESD2027 conference aims to be a focal point for all these discussions, and a forum for dissemination of good practice in this field.
