University of Colombo International Conference 2026

UCIC 2026 brings together research, innovation and collaboration across disciplines providing a University-wide space to share knowledge, showcase new ideas and strengthen connections between academia, industry and society.

Spanning health, science and technology, arts and education, leadership, law and management.

Showcasing local and international research contributions across a broad range of academic disciplines.

The University of Colombo International Conference 2026 (UCIC 2026) provides a common platform for the University community and its partners to share research, present emerging ideas and explore new possibilities for collaboration. Held under the theme “Advancing an Inclusive Future through AI, Sustainability and Innovation,” UCIC 2026 reflects the breadth of research across the University while creating space for ideas to be communicated, discussed, connected and taken further. The conference places particular emphasis on what happens beyond the presentation of research: how knowledge is communicated, how promising ideas are developed, how research can move towards translation and application, and how stronger links can be built between the University and the wider community. UCIC 2026 therefore brings together scholarly exchange, student innovation, research communication, interdisciplinary engagement and university–industry dialogue within one University-wide platform.
