Event Insights : Gain more knowledge on PaLA's annual conference - for publication and research. PaLA's annual conference takes place in the Harrisburg area on even years and moves around state on odd years. The Harrisburg area location affords the opportunity for advocacy activities at the State Capitol to promote libraries and librarianship at the state level. When rotating to regional locations in the east and west, PaLA members can attend a conference closer to home on a reasonably regular basis. When determining a suitable conference location, the board of directors must weigh all important factors including cost, availability of dates, and size and attractiveness of any conference facility. Below, please find the dates for the conferences confirmed to date.
