Event Insights : Gain more knowledge on the Practical Course - for publication and research. Accurate and reproducible data in fundamental biological research and disease diagnostics relies on proper specimen preservation, clear visibility of cellular components, precise labeling of molecular markers and on advanced biological imaging. Expertise in tissue analysis is crucial also for therapeutic applications, as histopathology continues to be the gold-standard for diagnosing illnesses like cancer. Point scanning optical sectioning, light-sheet microscopy, and optical tomography are technologies that can better address the vast spatial and molecular analysis needed to fully understand biological processes and disease mechanisms. High-resolution deep-tissue imaging is now possible thanks to significant advancements in sample labelling, tissue clearing, and 3D imaging technology that have expanded our knowledge of complex cellular and tissue structures
