VIETNAM OPTICA EXPO

Vietnam's eyewear market is developing rapidly, experts estimate growth from 200-300% / year. This comes from the increasing demand for eyeglasses of Vietnamese people due to the increasing incidence of refractive errors (near, far, astigmatism). According to a survey in 2022: 60% of students in inner-city schools and 40% of suburban students are nearsighted, the majority of elderly people have farsightedness, in addition, the need to use sunglasses to prevent glare or make fashion accessories is also very large.

According to data calculated by business people from surveys of market research companies, scientific reports of the medical world, combined with annual statistics at eye hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi show that about 20-22% of people in the city are suffering from refractive errors (myopia,  farsightedness, astigmatism...) and about 5-7% of people are suspected of having this disability.

Thus, it can be seen that nearly 50% of consumers live in Ho Chi Minh City. HCM and Hanoi can't help but use glasses to protect their eyes. Besides, the demand for fashionable glasses, dust-proof sunglasses, sun protection ... also increased sharply due to environmental pollution becoming more and more serious.

The eyes are also man's most valuable asset. And eyeglasses are one of the necessary tools to protect the eyes for humans. Especially for those who have eye problems, it is impossible without it. Not only that, it is also one of the indispensable jewelry for fashionistas.
