The Annual ANZSLA Conference

Renowned as Australia’s sporting capital, there is no better place than Melbourne to discuss and celebrate the big issues and opportunities shaping the future of the legal sporting landscape.

Melbourne lives and breathes sport, playing host to pre-eminent annual major sporting events such as the Formula 1®, the Australian Open, the AFL Grand Final, the Boxing Day Test Match and the Melbourne Cup. Melbourne was recently once again in the global spotlight when it hosted the highly successful NFL game between the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. In 2027, Melbourne will continue its proud sporting tradition by hosting the historic 150th Anniversary Test Match between Australia and England at the MCG, while also welcoming Rugby World Cup 2027 matches, including two Round of 16 matches on the Saturday and Sunday immediately following the ANZSLA Conference.

Melbourne is a vibrant and welcoming city with iconic sporting precincts, world-class facilities, incredible coffee, renowned hospitality and, most importantly, legal professionals, sporting bodies and fans who share an unparalleled passion for sport.

Make sure you come and join us at the 2027 ANZSLA Conference in Melbourne from 20 to 22 October 2027.
