The 3rd International Conference on Innovative Structure and Resilient City

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd International Conference on Innovative Structure and Resilient City (ISRC 2027), to be held from July 13 to 15, 2027, in Osaka, Japan. The conference will bring together participants in hybrid format.

Following the successful ISRC conferences in Nagoya, Japan, in 2025 and Bangkok, Thailand, in 2026, ISRC 2027 continues the series as an international forum for advancing research and collaboration in innovative structures, resilient infrastructure, and sustainable urban development.

Cities today face interconnected challenges, including climate change, extreme weather, rapid urbanization, aging infrastructure, and growing demands for reliable and inclusive services. Addressing these challenges calls for approaches that connect structural and infrastructure engineering with urban planning, environmental science, digital technologies, and public policy.

ISRC 2027 will provide a platform for researchers, engineers, planners, policymakers, and industry professionals to exchange new findings and practical experience. We welcome contributions on topics such as climate-resilient infrastructure, smart structures and structural health monitoring, digital twins and urban data analytics, artificial intelligence for risk assessment and disaster response, low-carbon construction, adaptive design, and resilience-based planning and management.

As digital technologies continue to reshape the built environment, their value lies in how effectively they support sound decisions, improve infrastructure performance, and serve communities. We hope the conference will encourage thoughtful discussion on applying these advances responsibly, while addressing the environmental, social, and technical dimensions of urban resilience.
