Silicon Valley

HRI is the premier venue for presenting and discussing the latest research on human-robot interaction, bringing together researchers and practitioners spanning robotics, human-computer interaction, human factors, artificial intelligence, engineering, and the social and behavioral sciences. The 22nd annual conference — themed Innovative HRI — will be held March 8–12, 2027 in Santa Clara, CA, in the heart of Silicon Valley.

From SRI's Shakey to today's fleets of autonomous vehicles, Silicon Valley has been a cradle of robotics research where ideas become real. HRI 2027 brings the community to the region where academic labs and the industries they created have been shaping human-robot interaction for over half a century.

Connect with engineers, researchers, and leaders from the companies defining the future of robotics. Dedicated industry talks, panel discussions, and a full Industry Day await.

Santa Clara sits at the heart of Silicon Valley, minutes from the headquarters of the world's most influential tech and robotics companies. The perfect setting for HRI's most industry-connected conference yet.

Fly into San Jose (SJC) or San Francisco (SFO), both with easy access to the venue. The Bay Area offers year-round mild weather, world-class dining, and iconic landmarks from the Golden Gate Bridge to Stanford.

Extend your trip to explore the region — visit the Computer History Museum, walk the campuses where the future is being built, or take a day trip to the coast. There's no shortage of inspiration here.
