2027 6th International Conference on Materials Engineering and Functional Materials March 1-4, 2027 | Da Nang, Vietnam

The International Conference on Materials Engineering and Functional Materials (ICMFM) has grown into a respected annual gathering for researchers and professionals in the field. Since its inaugural edition in Hanoi (May 8–10, 2017), the conference has traveled across Vietnam, including Da Nang (May 5–7, 2018; February 21–23, 2025), Hue (May 4–6, 2019), Nha Trang (February 28–March 2, 2026), and returning to Da Nang for its upcoming 2027 edition (March 1–4, 2027). Over the years, ICMFM has provided a vibrant platform for exchanging cutting-edge advances in materials engineering and functional materials, fostering collaboration between domestic and international scientists. Its enduring presence highlights Vietnam’s growing role as a hub for materials science research and innovation. ICMFM is organized by Duy Tân University.  It also aims to provide a platform for the authors to communicate with each other, to address news challenges and methods in the related filed and propose special issues for hot topics.

Submissions will be peer reviewed by conference program committees and international reviewers, accepted and presented papers will be included into Springer Proceedings in Materials, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, SCOPUS and SCImago databases for abstracting and indexing.

Selected papers of ICMFM 2027 will be recommended to Advances in Natural Sciences: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ANSN) , a high-quality gold open access journal jointly published by IOP Publishing and the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST). Since January 2025, the journal has run on a hybrid publishing model, with no APCs for articles published under the subscription-access basis. The journal provides efficient peer review, with a median of 7 days to first decision before peer review and 47 days to first decision after peer review. Its latest Impact Factor is 2.1, with a CiteScore of 3.3.
