JATA Tourism Expo Japan September 2027, Tokyo

As tourism professionals, you know that each year brings new opportunities to explore the world and expand your network of clients. This is especially true with the upcoming Tourism Expo Japan (TEJ) in September 2027 being held at Tokyo Big Sight!

TEJ will be held concurrently with the Travel Solutions Exhibition 2027, which is Japan’s largest tourism event, comprehensively covering domestic, inbound, and outbound tourism sectors

TEJ aims to develop domestic, outbound, and inbound tourism and to achieve regional revitalisation with a focus on tourism. It serves as a platform for business meetings, insight sharing, discussions, and promotion of tour products, facilities, and destinations. The 2027 event is expected to address travel diversification, further internationalisation with Chubu Centrair International Airport as a gateway, and long-term recovery efforts in collaboration with the Hokuriku region

The event is jointly organised by Japan Travel and Tourism Association (JTTA), Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO)

Exhibitors will include local governments, DMOs, accommodation facilities, transportation companies from across Japan, and companies seeking business in the tourism industry, including digital industries (e.g., automated translation, IT platforms, AI, robotics) and community support services. Buyers will include approximately 70,000* travel agency buyers from across Japan, digital professionals from local governments, DMOs, overseas tourism bureaus, hotels, and travel planners from domestic travel companies
