India Management Research Conference: IIM Ahmedabad (IMRC 2026)

Building on the strong foundations of its previous editions, the India Management Research Conference (IMRC 2026) continues to scale new heights in fostering rigorous and relevant management research. IMRC 2024 marked the successful launch of the conference, bringing together a diverse community of scholars and practitioners and setting high standards for academic excellence and intellectual exchange. This momentum was further strengthened by IMRC 2025, which witnessed expanded participation, high-quality research contributions across multiple tracks, and rich interdisciplinary dialogue on contemporary economic and organizational challenges.

IMRC 2026 aims to further elevate the conference’s impact and global engagement. With its focus on “Reimagining Organizations: Transformation and Value-Creation in the Age of AI,” the conference seeks to convene leading scholars and practitioners to generate cutting-edge insights into the evolving nature of organizations in an increasingly AI-driven world.

The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is fundamentally altering the nature of organizations, challenging long-standing assumptions about strategy, structure, and sources of competitive advantage. Beyond incremental efficiency gains, AI is enabling new forms of value creation by reshaping how organizations sense opportunities, make decisions, and orchestrate resources across increasingly complex and data-rich environments.

The integration of AI into organizational processes is transforming skill requirements, task allocation, and the nature of work itself. This necessitates new approaches to leadership, talent development, and organizational culture, with an emphasis on continuous learning, human–AI collaboration, and ethical awareness.
