ICDF2C conference focuses on emerging topics like AI and machine learning in digital forensics, adversary engagement, and threat intelligence. It also covers traditional topics such as digital investigations, cybersecurity, incident response, and risk management, fostering collaboration among academics, practitioners, and vendors.

Knossos Tour: Knossos is a Bronze Age archaeological site in Crete. The site was a major center of the Minoan civilization and is known for its association with the Greek myth of Theseus and the minotaur. It is located on the outskirts of Heraklion, and remains a popular tourist destination.

The workshop focuses on the challenges and opportunities presented by the continuous data acquisition from Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, mobile phones, and smart home appliances. 

The fields of digital forensics and cybersecurity are rapidly evolving in response to the emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI). We need to secure AI and at the same time leverage AI for helping improve our security posture. Novel cyber threats are emerging, catalyzed by the development of Large Language Model and other AI across many domains which increases the threat surface in many sectors such as Smart Industry, Fintech and digital government. Additionally, there is need for forensics investigations to understand the genesis of different attacks – understand whether they are human driven or AI driven and to find the right attribution of the perpetrators. Explainable forensics has become a critical area of research for understanding the provenance of deepfakes as well as to streamline the forensics processes through use of large language models. The focus of this conference is to provide a platform for discussing these emerging threats and to identify priorities for the community to target with the next generation of cyber analytics.
