Hyderabad Welcomes You

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, the Program Committee, and the International Advisory Committee, we sincerely invite you to the 22nd International Congress on Plasma Physics (ICPP 2026), in Hyderabad, India, from December 6 to 11, 2026. The event is organized by IIT Delhi.

The conference will address a wide range of topics in the field of plasma physics. Recent progress will be discussed concerning the following topics:

Most themes above rely on advanced computational methods (PIC, fluid, hybrid, molecular dynamics) and increasingly on AI/ML techniques. Contributions employing or developing such approaches across these areas are highly encouraged.

Papers submitted to the conference may be published in a special edition of Plasma Physics & Control Fusion (PPCF), subject to the PPCF review process.

Nestled in the heart of India’s Deccan Plateau, Hyderabad is a city where the past and future coexist in harmony. Known for its regal history, vibrant culture, and growing tech dominance, it offers a perfect blend of timeless heritage and cutting-edge innovation, unique setting for academic and scientific gatherings that seek both inspiration and innovation. We hope to welcome you to Hyderabad in December 2026, to enjoy with us the conference, the many historical sights and the rich culinary tradition of the region!

The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP) is the only international physics organization that is organized and run by the physics community itself. Its members are identified physics communities in countries or regions around the world. To secure IUPAP sponsorship, the organisers have provided assurance that ICPP 2026 will be conducted in accordance with IUPAP principles as stated in the IUPAP resolution passed by the General Assembly in 2008 and 2011. In particular, no bona fide scientist will be excluded from participation on the grounds of national origin, nationality, or political considerations unrelated to science.
