Christchurch, affectionately known as ChCh, is a city defined by transformation, resilience, and renewal. It’s the ideal setting for the New Zealand Society of Actuaries (NZSA) 2026 Conference, where we’ll explore how actuaries adapt, evolve, and lead in a rapidly changing world.

From climate risk and emerging technologies to shifting societal expectations, our profession continues to navigate complexity with insight and innovation. This year’s theme, “ChCh…Changes”, invites reflection on our collective journey and an inspiring look toward the future of risk, data, and decision-making.

Expect a dynamic programme featuring thought-provoking keynote speakers, engaging plenary sessions, and a diverse range of concurrent presentations - all designed to challenge ideas, spark discussion, and inspire action.

Beyond the sessions, our social programme offers the perfect chance to connect and unwind: a warm welcome on Sunday 22 November, a relaxed evening on Monday, a celebratory Gala Dinner on Tuesday, and a farewell lunch on Wednesday.

Join us in Christchurch and be part of the conversation. Together, let’s explore the changes shaping our profession - and the ones we’re ready to lead.
