DESIGN TOKYO

Design Tokyo is a B2B trade show at LIFESTYLE Week showcasing design-driven products, original ideas, and creative works by designers, manufacturers, and brands. It serves as a business platform for buyers and companies to discover unique concepts, product designs, and collaborative opportunities linking creativity with commercial value.

 In order to respect the concept of the show and to maintain high quality of exhibits, DESIGN TOKYO establishes the Screening Committee, composed of specialists working in the design/interior industry, and only those who are approved will be able to exhibit at DESIGN TOKYO. 

Eisuke Tachikawa is the founder and principal of NOSIGNER, a design firm dedicated to creating projects that inspire hope for the future. Working across architecture, product design, graphic design, and other disciplines, he has received more than 100 international awards for his cross-disciplinary approach to design.

He is also the creator of Evolution Creativity (Shinka Shikō), a design and innovation framework that explores the principles of creativity through the adaptive evolution of living organisms.

His notable projects include Tokyo Bousai and PANDAID. His book Evolution Creativity (Shinka Shikō) (2021) received the 30th Yamamoto Shichihei Award. Tachikawa served as the youngest president in the history of the Japan Industrial Design Association (JIDA) and currently serves as a Board Member of the World Design Organization (WDO).
