Conference Details : As the EU reviews CO₂ emission standards for cars and vans, policymakers face a key question: how to ensure that the framework delivers real decarbonisation while remaining genuinely technology neutral. ePURE’s position is that the current approach risks excluding proven and already available solutions, notably sustainable crop-based renewable ethanol, despite its recognition under the Renewable Energy Directive and its certified lifecycle greenhouse gas savings.
